My Review

Definitely light weight, but not warm.

3out of 5

Pros: Durable, Good Value

Cons: Not very warm

Best Uses: Backpacking

I used this product on two backpacking / day hiking trips. I noticed the performance of this jacket is good as long as the weather stays in the lower 30s or the higher 20s. If the weather goes below 20F, I suggest using a heavier jacket. I had to use a down vest in addition to this jacket.

The best part of the jacket is that it is light and you should be able to stuff it in your backpack. I travel very light and in that aspect it is a good investment.

Ricketts Glen State Park

Stream

A beautiful waterfall at Ricketts Glen State Park. This park has 22 water falls, all of them worth seeing.

Meltdown?

Everybody seems to be talking about the economy meltdown. I don't see a meltdown. There's so many sales happening every month, in the business I work for. Why would people be buying stuff if the economy is melting?

A few investment firms "Merill Lynch and Lehman Brothers" lost their shirts, because of gambling. Gambling with other people's money is what they know best. People ought to be careful when handing out their hard-earned gains to these firms.

Bird Feeder

These gulls are being fed the wildlife equivalent of junk food. Doesn't really matter, since they have grown used to it, in any case.

Noticed this scene whilst waiting for the ferry at Ocracoke.
