Being single really isn't so bad, provided you're somewhat antisocial by nature and enjoy your own company. And if you have a few friends to satisfy the occasional companionship cravings, the single life is actually better than most relationships.

But, yeah, dating pretty much blows. Unless you're the sort of person who finds fun in even the most dreadfully dull, stupid, and psychotic company during the most miserable romantic misadventures, dating is only enjoyable when you find that instant spark of chemistry with each and every individual you date. Of course, if there's chemistry with the very first person, if you hit it off and feel an immediate attraction, why keep dating around, especially knowing how rare chemistry can be?
